This is the patron video for January 2026. This is a talk I presented to a group of Ethiopian Christians, reflecting on feminism from a Christian and symbolic perspective. I explore the complementary roles of men and women in Scripture and tradition, and how modern Western ideas about liberation have shaped society—for better and for worse. The talk also addresses questions about women’s dignity, authority, motherhood, and the relationship between rights, responsibilities, and social stability, with examples drawn from the Bible, Orthodox tradition, and contemporary life.
